A two-part journey combining virtual workshops and in-person cultural immersion to connect Iraqi youth with their heritage and develop future leaders.

Program Structure

NUQTA offers a comprehensive experience through two complementary program components.

Part 1

Virtual Program

1 Month Duration

Connect with fellow Iraqi youth from across all governorates through engaging online workshops, leadership development sessions, and collaborative activities that build community and prepare you for the in-person experience.

In-Person Program

2-Day Immersive Experience

Travel to cultural heritage sites across Iraq for an unforgettable hands-on experience. Visit historical landmarks, engage in cultural activities, and build lasting connections with your peers while discovering Iraq's rich heritage.

Note: The in-person program travels to different Iraqi governorates each cycle (Baghdad, Basra, Northern Iraq, and more). Participants must be residents of the selected governorate for that cycle's in-person component.

Eligibility Requirements

Age Requirement

Participants must be between 15 and 24 years old.

Academic Status

Must be currently enrolled as a high school student or undergraduate university student.

Language Proficiency

Ability to understand written and verbal English and communicate clearly in English is required.

Location

Open to Iraqi youth from all 18 governorates. For the in-person component, you must be a resident of the selected governorate for that cycle.

Commitment

Full participation in both the virtual (1 month) and in-person (2 days) program components.

Our selection process is designed to identify passionate youth committed to leadership and cultural engagement.

Submit Application

Complete the online application form with your personal information, academic details, and thoughtful responses to essay questions about your motivation and goals.

Essay Review

Our team carefully reviews all applications, paying special attention to your essays to understand your passion for Iraqi heritage, leadership potential, and commitment to the program.

Interview Stage

Selected candidates will be invited for an interview (video or in-person) where we'll discuss your interests, aspirations, and how you can contribute to the NUQTA community.

Final Selection

Successful applicants will be notified via email. The program is fully sponsored with no cost to participants, covering both virtual and in-person components.
